LOTS OF YOUTH ACTION AND MOVEMENT AS WATSON LOOKS TO DEVELOP TALENT

"I along with Allan Smart have been impressed with Jake's performances and attitude. I feel he needs time at a club now to develop in competitive open age football above our reserves. We are developing a conveyor belt of talent and as Jake moves to Runcorn for experience players like 16 year old Connor Swale can step forward." The club currently have Daniel Lloyd McGoldrick and Connor Millington out on loan at Chorley while Alex Grisedale, Jamie McKernan and Shaun Holden are out at Burscough. Representing at Lancashire county level are Jamie McKernan and Shaun Holden from the SSES  squad and Nathan Martand and Vinny Bailey from our KGV Football Development squad. Youth development co-ordinator Haydn Preece added "It is very exciting to see our talent develop. Zac Aley is very close to moving to a Premiership club, Sam Finley has been added to our first team squad, Daniel Lloyd McGoldrick, Connor Millington are getting good reports from Chorley while Alex Gtrisedale, Shaun Holden and Jamie McKernan are getting the same positives at Burscough. The SSES system has seen midfielder Russell Benjamin transfer to Rochdale and striker Liam Willis to Wigan Athletic which shows the quality of coaches we have with Allan Smart and his team."
